There are four trading posts at the jamboree, all carrying a wide array of items that can help you deal with the heat. Included in the inventory are water bottles, lip balm, sunscreen, cooling head bands, ice, wicking shirts, portable fans, mister bottles with fans, sunglasses, Gatorade packets, and foot powder. Ticks, insects, berries, oh my!
To help ensure a safe, fun-filled jamboree, the Army has sprayed insecticide throughout the wooded areas at Fort A.P. Hill. This action will minimize the occurrence of ticks and other noxious insects. Stay away from the woods and do not eat any wild berries or other wild vegetation. Continue reading
