Tonight’s staff arena show cancelled

Tonight’s staff arena show was cancelled due to the threat of a severe storm. The storm has passed by Fort A.P. Hill and should no longer be a factor in your evening activities. Temperatures are expected to be lower tomorrow.

No holes

Federal authorities prohibit the digging of holes anywhere on the jamboree site without prior written permission. This includes holes for flagpoles, gateways, or stakes driven into the ground at a depth greater than eight inches.

Max height is 10 feet

The 10-foot height limit includes flagpoles, which must be of non-conductive material (wood, PVC, etc.).

Spoiled food is unhealthy

Don’t save food from one meal to another. The temptation is to hoard food from breakfast and dinner, as well as the kiosk lunches. With the mix of heat and limited refrigeration, unpackaged or repackaged food can quickly spoil. Continue reading
