Tuesday is Military Appreciation Day at Fort A.P. Hill. The flag ceremony and a tree planting at 8:45 this morning will pay tribute to the more than 1,700 military forces that have assisted at the jamboree. NASA will present a centennial patch from the International Space Station. The U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps will perform.
All Scouts and Scouters should take a moment throughout the day to thank military personnel for their service in making this a safe jamboree and for their service to our country.
