Representatives from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Virginia State Police (VSP) will be on hand to keep traffic delays to a minimum as you exit Fort A.P. Hill Wednesday onto the surrounding major highways.
Sgt. Thomas Molnar, VSP, said electronic message boards and signs will provide directional information and will be placed at key exit locations.
“We will be on hand to direct traffic safely and as quickly as possible,” said Molnar.
Portable traffic cameras will monitor traffic conditions and can be viewed online at www.511virginia.org or at www.trafficland.com.
VDOT and VSP will monitor traffic along the I-95 corridor and on other major highways in the area, and will address traffic issues and traffic signal timing as needed.

Can you post definitive information on early departures? Wilcox housing told us we could retrieve vehicles and exit Tuesday, since we will be done by mid-afternoon. I am now hearing through the rumor mill that Archer is closed until noon Weds (the military has impounded the lot), which implies an end-of-day Weds actual departure.
Where can I find information for bus schedules from here to Ronald Reagan Airport?
Vehicles with A stickers that are in Archer lot will not be allowed into the Jamboree area until 12 noon on Wednesday.
You may retrieve your vehicle from Archer to depart AP Hill through the main gate at any time.
If your plans require an early departure, make arrangements within your area to have someone with a vehicle with access to the jamboree site transport you and your belongings to Archer to facilitate your exit from the Jamboree.
When will buses from Wilcox to Archer run? Wilcox housing has posted signs indicating that we will be locked out of the barracks at 2 pm Weds. It appears that security and housing have squeezed us into a 2 hour window to get all of our vehicles from Archer to Wilcox and loaded.
