Nightime “Star Party” for star watchers

Participants can view the sun, moon and stars at the “Star Party” Astronomy exhibit.  Solar telescopes enable viewers to see the sun without harm to your eyes.  View solar flares, sunspots and listen to the sun’s radios waves.  All requirements can be met for Astronomy Merit Badge while at the Jamboree.

Night viewing begins at sundown to watch a waxing moon, Venus, Saturn and millions and millions of stars!

Also, microscopes are available to discover whatever you want to see of nature up close!.

Hours: Open 9 AM to late night pending clear skies.                   Location:  Loop Road near D3.
